The Role

Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to perform a wide range of civil construction tasks, including kerb and channel, drainage laying, plumbing and concrete works.
  • Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs, drainage systems, and other structural elements for bridges and civil construction projects
  • Performing drainage laying including pipe installation, trenching, backfilling, and alignment in accordance with site plans and regulations
  • Assisting with plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring proper fit-out of water systems and drainage lines where required
  • Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and actively participating in concrete pours and drainage-related tasks
  • Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care
  • Supporting road construction tasks, including kerb and channel placement, excavation and site preparation
Requirements:
  • A 3+ years of experience as a General Laborer, specialising in formwork, drainage laying, and concrete structures
  • Proven experience working on bridges, roads, and large-scale civil projects
  • Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete, beams, nails, stairs, and high-quality finishes.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor manual labour in a variety of weather conditions
  • With valid confined space and site safe
